Toilet Roll Animal Safari

It is Friday again and mummy did arts and crafts with me today. She will try to do arts and crafts with me every Friday. Let's just emphasize the word TRY again haha.

From her toilet roll "collection", she came up with the idea of an animal safari. And here are the materials needed for today's project...

3 toilet rolls (one already wrapped up in white paper as mummy nearly forgot to take a pic), 1 kitchen towel roll, glue, cellophane tape, scissors and some coloured papers

One of the featured animals is grey in colour and since we did not have any grey coloured paper, we decided to paint one on our own using water colour :)

Painting the whole piece of paper grey

Now, let's start off with the first animal. It has black and white stripes...

Glue the stripe like this...

Since we were both too engrossed with our work, no photos were captured during this time. (Actually it was mummy who did most of the work while I just ka-ka-cau-cau as usual hehe)

Fast forward to the end..... Tada!

My wild animals safari... tiger, zebra, elephant and giraffe

My favourite is the elephant *make elephant sound*

Then mummy realized that these 4 animals are the very same animals that she created with Lego some time back (earlier this year)...

Same old tiger, elephant, zebra and giraffe!

So where do you display all of them? In the living room or your bedroom, Chloe? ^^

  4. You really put me to shame. Be it craft work or lego, I enjoy neither one. I only enjoy swimming and running in the park with my kids. I hope I do have the talent to do all these with my kids.
