Once upon a time, there lived a little girl who was learning to talk. She picked up words really quickly... any word, good or bad, including words that weren't taught to her.
One day, her mommy thought she heard her saying a not-so-nice word, which was "stupid". Mommy thought the little girl must have mispronounced another word that sounded alike.
However, the little girl continued to mention it several more times. Mommy then realized she was indeed saying "stupid" because the naughty girl was using it in the correct context. She even scolded her daddy and mommy using that word, which shocked and angered them. They have never uttered the word at home so where did she learn it from?
Mommy immediately reprimanded the little girl and issued her a warning. "Cannot say stupid... Blah blah blah... It's not a nice thing to say. Blah blah blah. Don't say that again, OK?" lectured her mommy. "Okay" said the little girl. And she was the most obedient little girl. The word "stupid" was never heard again...
... until 2 months later (which is today)...
... when Mommy accidentally mentioned it. As soon as the little girl heard the word, she paused for a moment. Looking shocked and stunned, she snapped "Don't say stupid! Cannot say stupid, remember?" Mommy was so ashamed of herself, she quickly apologized and said sorry a few hundred times...
