Little Miss Clean

My mummy is a neat freak... a cleanliness freak, whatever you call it. Inevitably, I am also trained (and still being trained) to be one, if I did not already inherit it from her.

Among the things I would do without being told are:

- Picking up tiny crumbs, strands of hair or any specks of foreign materials on the floor and throwing them into the dustbin.
- When I spill water accidentally, I will take a piece of cloth or a mop to clean it up
- I dislike soiled or sticky hands and will demand to go WASH HANDS.
- I rarely dirty my clothes, the furniture or the floor even when I'm eating sticky, messy and gooey stuff

I love to wash my hands (It's a great excuse to play with water, so why not?)

Poor Dolly...

This is not even a hit-and-run. It's a hit-and-run-over-and-drag-it-along. Wonder where did I learn to be so violent towards sweet Dolly?

Oh oh... I think I just hit somebody

Nevermind, I'll just... run over it.

Hmm... why is she still there?

Sigh, might as well just drag her along...

Big Teddy

We saw this HUGE teddy bear in Jusco some time back. I think it's the biggest bear I've ever seen and touched.

Oh have mercy, Mr Bear, please don't eat me...

Pung Kok-kok

Firstly, pung kok-kok simply means "fall down and knock-knock". Pung is the baby language for "fall down" and kok means "knock" in Cantonese.

This phrase is coined by mummy and it is the most often-heard phrase at home. "B, be careful, pung kok-kok ar". "Hey, don't do that, pung kok-kok ar". "Stop jumping like that, pung kok kok ar". Blah, blah, blah, pung kok-kok ar.

However, on this fateful day, mummy didn't give me the pung kok-kok warning because I wasn't doing something that would potentially result in pung kok-kok.

I was happily reading my book when suddenly, I was hit by a lazy-bug, which caused me to hit my head on the floor as I was trying to lie down. What a humiliating wrong judgement. I thought I was in the middle of the mattress! Because of my carelessness, pung kok-kok lor!

Finger Painting

This is my very first and basic art set, bought during our crazy 13-hour shopping spree last Saturday.

Today, I finally had the chance to play with the water colours! We started off by creating colourful handprints and footprints.

And this was the final product... nice?

Then mummy let me paint with a small paintbrush and this was what I created:

Tada... my very first masterpiece.

*I was supposed to paint with my fingers/hands but I was too fussy about soiling my hands. After the hand and footprint drawing, I kept asking mummy to wash my hands. Hmm....

Cry-baby

There is this hideous side of me that is seldom seen by others...

This is how ugly I look when I cry...

Lately, I've become very emotionally sensitive and would cry at the slightest thing. And whenever I cry, even if it is a pretentious one, tears gush out generously like a burst pipe.

I would only stop crying when mummy takes out the camera and says "Cry louder, let me take a video of you". (Depending on my mood, this trick doesn't work all the time, though)

Yum Yum Ice-cream

I never knew the joy of eating ice-cream until now...

Not too long ago, I would lick it once or twice without returning for more. Now, I will grab the cone or the spoon from the person who offered it to me without returning it to him/her!

New Swimsuit

Mummy bought me a new swimsuit yesterday.

It's a 2-piece set, with UV protection

Finally, I don't have to be topless each time I go swimming. She couldn't wait to put it on me and I couldn't wait to play in the pool. We couldn't risk waiting until evening just in case it rained so off to the pool we went, at 11:30am. (It really rained in the evening, phew!)

Tada... this is how the little bikini model looks like.

There was nobody else around so we had the whole pool to ourselves!

I had so much fun, I refused to go home again...

Daddy's Birthday

Today is also Daddy's birthday. It is extra special for him today because next year, his birthday will not begin with the number "3" anymore hehehe. Whatever that number may be, he will always be my young, most-adored and beloved daddy!

We spent the whole day gai-gai again. We left home eagerly at 9:30am. This time, we went to The Curve/Ikea/Ikano/Tesco.

At the kids' corner in the Ikea Cafe.... I play here very often so I feel very at home here. As soon as I enter the play area, I will grab a stool and help myself with the toys. Daddy and mummy usually sit nearby so that they can keep an eye on me as they enjoy their meal.

Mummy taught me to say "Happy birthday, daddy! I love you." Daddy felt sooooo happy to hear those words from me.

An after-dinner chocolate-y treat... Royal Chocolate cake and Belgian Chocolate ice-blended at Coffee Bean.

After 13 hours and exhausting our supply of diapers, water, food (for me) and poorer by a few hundred ringgit, we finally decided to go home. We reached home close to 11pm (got stuck in a traffic-jam) and I took my bath at 11pm!! After taking my bath and a bottle of milk, I drifted off to dreamland almost immediately. Oh what a day...

25 Months Old

I am 25 months old today.

- Height: 91cm
- Very cheeky and like to tease people.
- Can cycle a tricycle (actually I could do this a few months back)
- I am very quiet and shy when I’m around people (except close family members).
- Can understand simple reasoning, action and consequences. E.g. I will say to myself "Cannot play with the CDs... spoil ooh" but I will still play them anyhow.

Teddy Bear Picnic

What about a little tea-party? We took out the box of stuffed-animals. Mummy and I had fun arranging them on the sofa.

Sitting in a row with my little friends

We were about to have a teddy bear picnic with my new tea party set when suddenly mummy started sneezing. And then she sneezed again... and again. I followed suit soon after that. I even imitated her actions and her words "Hmm... so dusty" everytime I sneezed. So we decided to put them back into the box.

Maybe one very sunny day, they should all go for a whirlpool swim in the washing machine first...

Self-abuse

I am quite prone to mosquito bites, especially in Mah-mah and Ah Ma's house where I never fail to attract them. Even when I am back at home and there isn't any mosquitoes around, I still continue to scratch like a monkey.

Scratch, scratch, scratch...

Look ma, these are my self-made temporary tattoos. Nice, eh?

Another Lantern

This afternoon, mummy's friends came for a visit and they bought me toys (and food)!

Auntie Shellie made these delicious mooncakes and she gave me a HuanHuan lantern. Auntie BSien bought the ViewMaster for me (belated birthday present) all the way from Singapore. Thank you, aunties!

At night, daddy and mummy brought me for a walk around the poolside and playground.

Daddy, mummy and me... "paktho-ing" romantically on a bench at the poolside.

I enjoyed the evening very much and did not want to go home...

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Everybody says I am the spitting image of mummy when she was little.

Look alike or not?

From the stature, the hair, the frown and even the character, I am just like her in every way...

Thirsty?

Today, mummy caught me playing with this thing again:

However, this time, she reacted as if she has gone berserk, shouting "OMG, ARRRGGGHHH NOOOOOOOO!" while grabbing the thing away from me. I was only drinking the water in it (after unscrewing the cap). What's the big deal, mum?

Mummy: Well, you tell me, honey.

1. The container has never been washed before
2. The water is from the tap
3. The water is dunno how many weeks (or probably months) old

Lantern

This is my first tang-lung (lantern). It is 100% handmade by Gung-gung.

Gung-gung brought me for a night walk around the neighbourhood as I carried my little lantern with me. I loved it very much (both the walk and the lantern). I pointed to the flame on the candle and said "Got fire".

The Jumbled ABC Song

My current favourite is the Alphabet song. Sometimes I can get most parts of it correct but sometimes when I'm not sure, I'll just simply "tembak" or come up with my own lyrics...
