Lalalalala... I was so happy and excited, I was practically prancing and skipping all along the jetty.
Since it was quite a late check-in, we didn't do much today. The first thing we did was to check out our cabin...
To have an idea of how small it is, let's just put it this way: No matter where the 3 of us were, we were always within whispering distance haha!
Jump, jump, jump... doing a routine bed-testing
After that, we went out for a walk, a self-tour to familiarize ourselves with the ship...
Swimming pool! Can we go swimming now? Can we go swimming later? When can we go swimming? I want to go swimming... I asked and pleaded again and again.
Soon, it was dinner time at the Mariner's Buffet (International buffet). Today's menu was Japanese. Aiks! We just had Sakae Sushi yesterday. Haha!
They hung a row of lanterns to create the Japanese "feel"
I had rice with roast beef, grilled prawn and steamed fish. I'm a "rice girl". I always eat better whenever there's s rice so I had rice for almost every meal.
After dinner, we watched a show at the Stardust Lounge. It featured an interesting variety of dances and acrobatic performances.
I was unusually restless throughout the show and couldn't sit still for a minute!
After the show, it was time for bed.
We joined the beds like this. I was extremely fascinated by the elevated bed and couldn't stop climbing up and down the ladder!
So happy... I slept well and didn't make a single sound
However, daddy and mummy didn't (and couldn't) sleep well at all. Since mummy was sleeping on the upper deck, they were both worrying over the same thing... that mummy would roll off the bed and crush daddy below!
oh..the cruise trip looks interesting and a lot of fun :) err...I thought Chloe would be sleeping on the upper deck ...hahahah
ReplyDeleteChloe is so sweet looking. Ooh..you are tempting me to go on a cruise..hehe. My SIL just came back on a cruise too. She said it was fun and relaxing too.
ReplyDeleteThe bed has railing right? Why not let your Hubby sleep on the upper deck..hehe.
mommy to chumsy, the upper deck had no railings ler... and there was a warning sign that disallowed kids from sleeping up there for safety reasons.
ReplyDeleteMummy Gwen, go go go! If you can stand being confined to a place, then you should have no problem liking it... many people find it too BORING. Well, we are boring people, so we loved it hehe. Hubby felt that he was too heavy to be sleeping up there (afraid that the bed might collapse haha) so left with no choice, I had to sleep up there lor :-)

ReplyDeletei think i can enjoy cos i m boring n quiet person....
LittleLamb, will email you soon.
ReplyDeleteWell, just in case anyone is also just as curious, we paid about RM3.4K+ nett for 3 pax. Booked it from Resorts World (Genting) cos at that time, they offered the best deal. You can also ask around the tour agents and compare the prices.
I think it's not boring. It's a great experience. Thanks for the info. :)
