Mummy was so mad that she nearly went amok while daddy gasped at the sight of the horrid mess! Very quickly, daddy chucked me out of the car and washed the car (seat) by the roadside (parking lot) with two 1.5L bottles of water and 2 pieces of cloths while mummy went to apologize to Aunty Moon for the screwed-up plan.
Obviously, we had to forget about the breakfast because I did not have any spare clothes to change into. Hungry and upset, both daddy and mummy had no choice but to rush home for more washing and cleaning. What a bummer :(
It was so unfortunate that we did not have the chance to utilize the plastic bags that we have so readily equipped ourselves with (in the car and bag). It happened too fast and unexpectedly. I think it's quite apparent that I'm suffering from "milk-induced acute motion sickness" - a condition self-diagnosed by mummy haha.
Lesson Of The Day For Daddy & Mummy:
It took them 4 very disgusting, messy and stinky lessons to learn that:
1. IMMEDIATELY AFTER MILK, NO TRAVELLING IN A CAR FOR ME
2. WHEN PLANNING TO TRAVEL IN A CAR, NO MILK FOR ME
3. WHEN TRAVELLING IS NECESSARY AFTER MILK, MAKE ME HOLD A PLASTIC BAG
The aftermath... completely drenched in my own puke (after the car was cleaned-up)
Draped in a napkin, I slept all the way home
You might be wondering... was I sick? Well, back home, after taking my bath, I looked so normal, no one would believe what had just happened. I even asked for a steamed fishball when I saw daddy and mummy eating the tapau-ed dimsum.
It's yummy! Thank you, Aunty Moon, for the treat :)
Nope, I wasn't sick at all. Far from it. Touch wood.
P.S. Luckily daddy's car wasn't stinky at all, thanks to the very efficient built-in ionizer and easy-to-clean leather seat. Phew!
I bet Daddy & Mummy hv learnt their lesson. A vy stinky one indeed. :D Altho they may be mad at u for the mess, I'm sure they're vy glad u're not unwell or anything.
ReplyDeleteAiyo...kesian you, Chloe.
ReplyDeleteYa no travelling after milk.
Poor Chloe! Sum more kena marah! But I admire you, can sleep anywhere and anytime and in any condition!
ReplyDeleteOh No! Vomit in the car? Lots of cleaning to do..
ReplyDeleteluckily got LEATHER seat.... if my car, I won't know how to clean.... I would be sooooo mad... haha
ReplyDeleteGlad that she is fine..
ReplyDeleteChloe doesn't use the car seat? Maybe she moves too much ah. Next time Mummy should get ready some spare clothes, plastic bags and minyak cap kapak.
ReplyDeletesei for lor..if my car..i will so heart ache man.....
ReplyDeletehmmm maybe she didnt digest well after milk lor.
faint...if i m were u..sure i also go amok..hahaha
ReplyDeleteYucks, I don't like this stinky smell. I sure mad too, somemore it happened in the car..hard to clean ler..
ReplyDeleteIf you still find the smell, can spray with Febreze. It is quite effective to take away the stinky smell.
Haha I can understand the situation very much. I experience this N times already. The most hated part is vomit when nearly reach the destination. Keep some plastic bags in car, pack extra clothes when outing. Ask her carry the plastic bag to standby for the whole journey. I find that travel straight away after milk and laying horizontally in car easily throw out, normally I would let my girl sleep in sitting position resting her head on my arm.
ReplyDeleteOMG !!! The car ride make her sick? Luckily it is leather seat, else...got to spend some $$$$ for people to clean up the cushions.
ReplyDeleteThat day YX vommited on my bed and I was so angry with him. But looking at his pity face, I felt so bad after that.
thank goodness for leather seat! Imagine if it is otherwise.. horryfying!
ReplyDeleteAlamak... but now you know what to prevent already, so no more future accidents!
ReplyDelete8 oz milk + 4 oz water, sure whole tummy full with liquid.. Maybe next time if happen need to travel by car, try take in only half bottle milk?? Actually this was what we did to Yan Yan when she was small... scare of her, easy get vomit baby...
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that she lurve the bebola...
p/s : My hub said if the daddy drove too fast and made Chloe felt discomfort??
oh poor chloe. glad you all found out the reason why. maybe you could wait for 30 mins after drinking milk before you start travelling.
ReplyDeleteu poor girl! must be travelling and being active on a heavy stomach ya?
ReplyDeleteyeah agree, after milk no car ride! poor girl
ReplyDeletenext time, dont drink and drive... it is dangerous and messy later.
ReplyDeletePoor Chloe, I am sure she felt not good the moment she threw out.
ReplyDeleteI remembered Sarah vomited once in the car. She also had her milk and later we traveled in the car for about 1 hour. And the next moment when she awake, she vomit.
