Holiday Activity 5 - More Shopping

Yesterday morning, when I heard daddy leaving for work (clanging and banging sound of the gate and door, thanks to his noisy exit) I sprang out of bed and dashed out as usual, while calling daddy... daddy... daddy... in my most manja voice. As I waved goodbye to him at the gate, I gave him the most pathetic daddy-please-don't-go stare. Yes, I'm still doing this until today!

Consumed with guilt while driving to work (for not spending a single full-day with me during this 2-week school holidays), daddy immediately submitted his 1-day leave application (for today) upon arrival at the office!

Well, what do we do on a "holiday" with daddy around? Not knowing where to go, we hit the malls again. What else? Haha. We mall-hopped from KLCC in the morning to Sunway Pyramid in the afternoon... and came home at night *grin*

Of course, on any of our shopping trips, shopping and dining were not my main concern. I was only interested in the toy section of departmental stores and most importantly, kiddy rides...

My smile says it all... I LOVE KIDDY RIDES!

I came home with another new water toy... can "fight" with daddy on our next trip to the swimming pool *snickers*

And mummy splurged on something really expensive for me (I don't know about it yet cos she has been hiding it from me. It's meant for my birthday in 2 months' time). It's quite baffling how she sometimes hesitates over a RM20 top for herself but when it came to this RM264.90 no-discount Lego set, she grabbed it as if it was a bundle of spinach from the wet market! She claims that this is one of the many mysteries of being a parent...

My 3rd Lego set

A 3-in-1 house set with lots of movable parts and accessories... cool!

  9. It's true about being a parent....even I myself am not willing to spend so much money for my own personal enjoyment, but for my son, I'm willing to if the thing is something good and worthwhile. Btw, about the Ernie kiddy ride, which mall is that? My son loves kiddy rides too, he would cry and fret for it too!

  14. Wow, Chloe sure has a loving and caring daddy! She must be really proud of her dad!

This Lego design looks like the one I had when I was 7 years old, back then it was only RM30+...... thanks to the inflation, Lego is getting more expensive nowadays!

    Happy weekend!

  17. Yes I agree!! It is indeed mysterious why we mothers do that. Stingy to ourselves but ever so generous to our kids :)
