Tomorrow is the last day of the 1st semester. A small class party will also be held to celebrate Teacher's Day...
We were encouraged to make little cards for our teachers with some help from home. Of course, I was all eager to carry out this "assignment"...
Mummy came up with a simple idea of a finger-print flower garden with bees and ladybirds. The finer details (stripes and dots) of the bees and ladybirds were done by her (with some ideas borrowed from
here).
Finger-painted Teacher's Day cards
The inside - my "cakar-ayam" handwriting, 80% written by me (I couldn't write S, Y and W). I even wrote "I" wrongly. The "I" in Eswari became an "L"... ooops!
Mummy then rolled the card over a tube of chocolates and secured it with a ribbon
A very small and simple gift to let my teachers know that I appreciate their love, care, guidance and hard work :)
awww...what lovely gifts for the teachers. so creative too :D
ReplyDeleteThat is a very nice present for teacher. You are a very thoughtful mom. I can see Chloe really enjoy making the card. Her teachers sure feel very touch.
ReplyDeleteHa..Shenny's kindy also has the celebration tomorrow. She has personally drawn a card too but a bit plain without color. Chloe's card is more colourful and creative, I think.
