Moved to Tears

For the very first time, daddy and mummy witnessed a very emotional and compassionate side of me while I was watching a movie called Barbie as Rapunzel on Channel 616 (Cartoon Network) last night.

Surprisingly, I could understand the storyline very well. I was completely absorbed in the movie and sat through the entire show. Halfway through, when Gothel destroyed Rapunzel's paintbrush and paintings and transformed her bedroom into a tall tower, I cried out "NO, NO!! I don't want that to happen! I don't want to watch anymore! I don't want to watch anymore". I was so worked-up and agitated, I wept silently.

Poor thing... noticed the drop of tear on my chin?

Mummy had to console me and tell me that it's only a story while daddy comforted me and told me to wait for the happy ending. After watching the happy ending, I got my smile back :)

  9. Aww....so touched seeing her cries. Means she really understands what she is watching. Gwen is not interested in Barbie or princesses' shows. She will ask me to change the channel for sure.
