Scenario 1
It was an exceptionally quiet evening at home. The tv was switched off and I was playing quietly on my own. Mummy told me to turn the radio on. I refused (probably too lazy to move my butt) so I said "No, just now we listened to CD already. Don't listen so many times lah. Waste electricity!"
Scenario 2
I like to cruise around the house on my little police car (second-hand from cousin Jeremy). Everywhere I go, be it to the kitchen, bedroom or bathroom which are just a few footsteps away, I will "drive" there. One day, mummy asked...
Mummy: Why do you have to ride on this all the time? Isn't it faster and easier to just walk?
Me: But I don't want to waste my energy.
The car is a bit too small for me now but I love it too much to let it go...
The same thing applies when we are out shopping. Most of the time, I will just sit lazily on my stroller because I'm too lazy to walk, citing "I don't have energy to walk" as an excuse. Yes, can you believe that I'm still very dependent on my stroller when we are out shopping? As I'm getting heavier and heavier by the day, mummy believes that the stroller is going to fall apart very soon haha!
I am also worried your stroller might fall apart one day.. haha.
ReplyDeleteZiyi is still dependent on the stroller until now too..
Chloe is very intelligent...she uses the concepts that she learns very well...
ReplyDeleteMy kids also like to drive their vehicle in the house. I don't quite like it, when the vehicle moved, it created so much noise at home.
ReplyDeleteoh my, oh my...look at our lady long legs... her legs really attracted me...hahahaha
ReplyDeleteshe also loves to ride on the push car hor?? Just like W , i think sooner or later the car will broke into 2...due to overweight...
LOL.....that is a good one :D
ReplyDeleteGOOD! very good.. keep it up bout the stroller.. i think u gonna use it until it falls apart :D
ReplyDeleteHaha, we stopped using stroller when Shenny was 4 year old but her father had to carry her instead because she always likes to complain about leg sore after 10 or 15 minutes walking.
ReplyDeleteLOL... love her kid's saying! How thoughtful of her, don't want to waste energy for turning on the radio!:)
ReplyDeleteHave a pleasant weekend!
She is very smart..haha...sit on the stroller is more fun than walking lah. :) Gwen stopped using the stroller when she was 2. But I think she would love to sit on the stroller if she gets the chance coz she sometimes asks Daddy to carry her.
ReplyDeleteHaha, such a smart girl.. but the car really too small for you la~ :P
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I think everyone should learn to conserve energy, it certainly brings benefit for all of us!
OOoohhh...must have heard from mummy saying about wasting electricity. haha
ReplyDeletehaha cute answer she gave. So she is a lazy couch potato? Some research said it inherit from mommy during the pregnancy. My boy is so energetic perhaps inherit from my walking during the Bangkok trip wahaha.
ReplyDeleteLOL, she cleverly uses the 'don't waste energy' concept/reason to her advantage! Smart girl!
ReplyDeletehmmmm we have thrash our stoller. I told Philip ALL THE TIME..if u want to go out, u must walk. No stroller, no carry. If u want me to carry or use stroller MEANS no going out. So sometimes he rather stay at HOME....:o
ReplyDeleteClever girl..
ReplyDeleteWe can't ditch the stroller... yet! As you know, our shopping outings can be really crazy... stretching up to 12 hours at times. Asking her to walk that long amounts to child abuse haha!
ReplyDeleteWe also find the stroller extremely useful in carrying our belongings... water bottles, bags, shopping goods etc.
so funny to hear Chloe's energy saving story. She is such a big girl now :)
ReplyDeleteWow! So young age considering about energy saving d? geng!
ReplyDeleteSame goes to Ethel..till now she also prefer on stroller..sigh!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a good thing that Chloe is still willing to sit on the stroller...That is the perfect excuse for mummy to shop from morning to night! I was terrified when my kid came back from preschool one day and declared that his class teacher said "no more stroller" and he was hardly 4 then! No way, would I hear of that. So, I brainwashed him...and thank goodness it worked! He was on the stroller till almost 5! Wah! Those mega long legs were very close to touching the floor whenever he dozed! We sure had quite many passers by commenting on those dangling legs! hehe.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to read her development and she is such a tall girl. She is good in her speech ya.
ReplyDeleteI think it's good that she still sit in her stroller coz my Angel does and I think it's a life saver, don't you think so?
HL, I haven't used the J&J repellant yet. We always indoor so no mozzies attack so far. The ultimate test is at my parents' home...haha.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you buy one and try lah coz your brother is in SG right.
