Last Saturday, daddy and mummy brought me to a "real school" for my primary school registration. Unfortunately, the school's administrative office was closed. However, the kind and friendly guard ushered us into the school compound and told us to have a self-tour of the school as it was an "open day".
This was our first impression of the school... lots of trees, shady, beautifully landscaped with pretty murals here and there
At the entrance of the HUGE main hall (left pic) and the student activities notice board (right pic)
I sulked the whole time we were there. I wasn't too pleased with the idea of going to a "big girl's school". I was so tensed and nervous that I kept "sticking" to daddy and refused to explore the place on my own...
Covered walkway all the way to the main gate... end of tour. Phew! Let's go home...
Mummy finally registered my name in this SJKC this morning (already pre-registered online last week). She has been eye-ing this school since I was still in her womb. This reputable school used to be the client of the company that she was working with, and she is quite impressed with what the school has to offer. Of course, the most important reason for choosing this school is its proximity to our home. It is a mere 3.4km from doorstep-to doorstep!
Keeping our fingers crossed that I will be accepted into this school, just like all our neighbours' kids who are already schooling here.
The school is really nice!!!!!! Mummy is so efficient in registering. I haven't hahahaha
