Delayed Response

I often do not apologize or show my gratitude immediately unless prompted by mummy to do so. Sometimes it can even be delayed until the whole issue has been totally forgotten...

Example 1: The Apology
Mummy and I were enjoying a light snack over tv when suddenly, very out of the blue...

Me: Sorry, mummy *guilty look*
Mummy: Huh? Sorry? What did you do?
Me: I played with water and wet my T-shirt lah!
Mummy: HUH??? (That was like 6 hours ago!)

Example 2: The Gratitude
Mummy and I were snuggled in bed, cuddling and whispering sweet nothings to each other when suddenly, very out of the blue again...

Me: Mummmmmmy....
Mummy: Yes?
Me: Thank you for the rice. It's very nice. I like *hug and smother mummy with kisses*
Mummy: HUH??? (You mean dinner? That was like 4 hours ago!!)

Hahaha! Well, that's me.
