Here's more of my healthy lunch collection... my (almost) meatless meals...
Macaroni with diced fishcake (homemade), egg, organic broccoli and carrot
Kon-lou noodle with egg and stir-fried cabbage, carrot, organic corn and french bean
And here are some of the "variety platters" which I love...
Macaroni with salmon flakes in creamy sauce (self-cooked, not ready-made), french bean omelette, carrot sticks, grapes and fresh apricot
Kon-lou buckwheat noodles with stir-fried egg and baby asparagus, cherry tomatoes, blueberries, papaya and homemade soya-milk jelly
French toast (from homemade multi-grain bread), wholewheat cereal, kiwi fruit, banana, cherries and less-sugar Vitagen
Mummy noticed that I have been eating the SAME OLD THING everyday... maybe because these fruits and veggies are my favourite! A few people have asked mummy if I would normally finish the above meals and the answer is YES. I always finish all my meals, especially my lunch because I'm too hungry not to :)

ReplyDeleteall seem so yummy-licious... :)
ReplyDeleteMmmm....so yummy and healthy. May I know what you use as soup base?
ReplyDeletewow...amazing...you cook so many varieties ...All looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteB&B's Mama: Very simple only la... everything dump into the soup, that's all. No special skill required :)
ReplyDeleteMtC: For the soup base, I usually use fish paste or chicken bones (de-boned with still quite a lot of flesh stuck to them). The fish paste makes the soup naturally tasty. With all the other veggies dumped in (the greens are briefly blanched), the soup gets more flavourful. For seasoning, only sea salt is used.

ReplyDeleteWah...your mommy can cook so well and well garnished...surely you can finished it.
ReplyDeleteIrene (Yew): I doubt your kids will eat these stuff la haha. Have to train from baby u know ;) The fish paste is quite easy to make provided you get the right fish. I get my supply from my mum ("imported" from Seremban haha). Ok let me summarize the process for you... Using ikan parang (dunno what it's called in Eng) just scrape the flesh out with a spoon. Then add some salt to the flesh and mix and stir until it becomes stiff and it's done. Try lah :)

Hi,
ReplyDeleteWhere do u get the free range chicken around PJ area?
June: It's not hard to find FR chicken around PJ. They are easily available in modern grocers like Cold Storage, Village Grocer and Jaya Grocer. Sometimes you can also find them in Giant. I think the wet markets should have too but I've never bought any from there though...
ReplyDeleteColourful, creative, healthy, yummy, delicious etc etc etc...hehe.
ReplyDeleteHweiLi, I wonder do you served the kiwi with its skin?
Normally I will peel off the skin.
