Fun Fair

Everytime we are back in Seremban, we pass by this fun fair a few times in a day as it is quite near to Ah Ma's house. It is very eye-catching, especially at night with its colourful bright lights and all. I have been yearning to go to this fun fair since the day I saw the workers assembling the ferris wheel and setting up the place. That was about 2 months ago!

Well, after an early dinner on Saturday, Gung-gung finally suggested bringing me there for a "look-see". I have never been to an "old-fashioned" fun fair like this before, besides the amusement parks in Genting Highlands. Before leaving the house, I gave mummy an eager reminder... "Remember to bring the camera ok. Must take photos and put in my blog!"

Asia Fun Park in Seremban

Beaming at the fair *too happy*

Entrance and parking were free but the tokens cost RM2 each. Daddy bought 10 tokens for me to play whatever I liked. As expected, I spent all the tokens only on rides.

My favourite ride... the up-down-round-and-round ride

The boring round-and-round fire engine

Gung-gung accompanied me on the Ferris Wheel... loved it!

Another round-and-round ride... I felt a bit dizzy when I got down from the ride

Watching people scoop lucky duckies in one of the game booths

Just like that, pusing-pusing a bit, RM20 gone. So much for round-and-round rides! The rides were quite expensive, averaging at RM4 per ride. There were also a few RM2 kiddy rides, while some of the thrill rides (for adults) cost as much as RM6 per ride.

I enjoyed myself very much that night and kept asking for more. I also pleaded with mummy... "Can we come here again? Please? Pleeeeeeaaaase?" When mummy said no, I put on a glum face and muttered "I'm gonna miss this fun fair so much...." many, many, many times!

The Kiddy Ride Princess

No kiddy rides, no talk. That's my motto for the time being haha...

Scenario 1
I sometimes like to cry in the middle of the night for no reason...

Me: *Crying*
Daddy: Ssshhhh!
Me: *Still crying*
Daddy: Why? What do you want?
Me: *Cry only, no answer*
Daddy: Stop crying!
Me: *Cry louder*
Daddy: Cry some more, no kiddy rides for you!
Me: *Immediate SILENCE*

Scenario 2
During photography, I will never co-operate and prefer to look elsewhere, make ugly faces or run away...

Mummy: Look here!
Me: *Purposely look away*
Mummy: Look here and smile!
Me: *Try to run away*
Mummy: Hey, if you don't look here and smile, cannot go for kiddy rides ar!
Me: *Quickly pose as stylishly as possible and flash her with my sweetest smile*

Scenario 3
Ah Ma prepared a half-boiled egg for me, something that I don't quite like. I love eggs, but not half-boiled ones...

Ah Ma: Come... eat egg.
Me: I don't want
Ah Ma: Eat la... it's nice bla bla bla (and then mummy whispered a hint to her)
Me: I don't like it, don't want!
Ah Ma: If you eat this, we'll bring you for kiddy rides later
Me: *Slurrrrp! Burp!*

I quickly sapu the whole egg, of course! Haha!

As for now, got kiddy rides, WILL OBEY!

Our Weekend

We went to The Curve/Ikea/Ikano/Tesco two days in a row this weekend. We spent more than half a day there yesterday when Gung-gung, Ah Ma, Yee-ma and Kau-foo came for a visit. We had a marvelous time touring the whole of Ikea and having lunch, tea and dinner together. Too bad mummy left the camera at home, so no photos.

As if that wasn't enough, we made another trip there again today because daddy and mummy wanted to watch Cloudy With The Chance Of Meatballs. Since the movie ticket promotion was only applicable at Cathay cinemas, we didn't mind going there again. We even parked our car at almost the same spot!

CWTCOM - my second movie in the cinema

This time, I didn't fall asleep in the cinema. The cinema was quite packed and I kept talking and asking questions. Mummy had to repeatedly "ssshhhh" me to lower down my voice.

After the movie, I hinted to daddy "Today I'm a good girl, hor?" Daddy smiled and knew straightaway what I was up to... I was indirectly asking for a ride on the kiddy rides! Well, yes... it's indeed quite true that I've been a very good and obedient girl in the past few days so I got to ride on this "premium" animal ride that cost RM3 per ride... (I usually get to spend only RM1 on kiddy rides in each shopping outing)

My very first time riding on this...

I liked it very much... When the ride ended, I kept hugging and rubbing my head on the panda bear before getting down haha!

Animal Choo-Choo Train

Although I am a big fan of kiddy rides, never once have I pestered daddy or mummy for a ride on this...

I call this the Animal Choo-Choo Train

The other day, at Sunway Pyramid, daddy decided to let me take a ride on it. We were already approaching the ride and daddy was even getting ready to pay for it when mummy suddenly objected at the very last minute simply because she did not bring the camera with her. She wanted to take photos of my very first ride on it.

Imagine my disappointment... to be led to the ride and be barred from riding it! However, I behaved exceptionally well as I did not cry, fuss or throw a tantrum. I did not even utter a single sound of protest. This made mummy extremely guilty so she made a promise to me, that I will get to ride it on our next shopping trip.

Today, as soon as I woke up from my sleep and saw daddy around (meaning he's not working), I knew it was shopping day. I requested to go to 1 Utama repeatedly. I also kept reminding mummy about the animal choo-choo train... "You promised me, remember?"

She kept her promise and I finally got to enjoy my very first Animal Choo-Choo Train ride...

Happy at last...

While I was enjoying my ride (I had the whole ride to myself!), mummy was trailing me from behind like a paparazzi, to capture some videos and photos of me hehehe!

There's Something About Kiddy Rides

Mummy: Oh no, there's a cluster of kiddy rides in front. Quick, distract her to look the other side. Blindfold her. Do something.
Daddy: Where? Where? (Blur as usual)

Lately, I find myself attracted to kiddy rides at shopping malls. The moment I spot one, I will point to it and make a lot of noise. When I do get to ride on one (even if it is stationary) I feel so happy, I want to ride on it forever. Yes, I will cling on to it and REFUSE to budge. Maybe this explains mummy's apprehensiveness above hehehe....
