Doggy Trash

While walking home from school one day, I spotted a box of toys at the trash bin area of our apartment compound. Very quickly, I dashed over and squatted down to have a closer look...

Fascinated by other people's rubbish!! My silly antics made mummy burst into laughter :D

Upon visual inspection (didn't touch it of course), I concluded that the broken toys belonged to a dog. I mean, just look at the level of damage...

And they looked very dirty too...

Me: Yes, I'm very sure these toys belonged to a dog.
Mummy: The dogs here have very good life, hor?
Me: Ya, got nice toys to play with.... just play only, no need to do (school) homework. Better life than me...
Mummy: LOLOLOL!!

The "Piano Chair Yoga"

Oh, I need a break from this mundane piano practice. How about some "piano chair yoga" for a change...

A shake head and roll eyes moment for mummy haha...

The Diamond Ring

Here's mummy showing off her new diamond ring...

I have one too!

Well, in a quick glance, it does look like a diamond ring, isn't it? But if you look closely....

... you will see that it is actually crudely made of a wire-tie haha!

Yes, I love to pick up "rubbish" lying around the house and turn them into "gems", literally hahaha!

The Scowl

Long ago, when I was a cheeky toddler, I liked to make this face. It is the same scowling face that I like to make until now...

Maybe I'm just tired of being a frequent target of the camera but mummy finds this too amusing not to snap hahaha :D

Pre-Bedtime Poses

*Backdated post of some random photos*

Every night, after taking off my specs to go to bed, mummy likes to admire me, kiss me and compliment that I look very cute and pretty without my specs on *ahem*. Upon hearing that, I love to pose and ask her to snap photos of me.

Here's a small photo collection of me as a pyjama model...

No Playing on Bed!

Mummy is a cleanaholic and she imposes all sorts of "rules" pertaining to cleanliness around the house. One of them is "No playing on bed or sitting/sleeping on bed with clothes that have been worn outside the house". My bed is strictly for sleeping (with clean pyjamas on) and it has to be CLEAN at all times.

Well, one fine afternoon, I broke this rule. I've never played on my bed before so obviously, I've either forgotten or was not aware that this rule exists! With loud music blaring from my very own CD player in the bedroom (the one I won from my sports carnival), I was having a great time playing "doctor-doctor" with my stuffed animals when mummy walked in.

Dusty toys strewn all over my bed!

She was about to grumble at me but when she saw this, she broke into laughter instead...

Pooh bear with an ill-fitting stethoscope hahaha!

Thanks to Winnie the Pooh, mummy did not scold me but told me to put the toys away and reminded me not to play on bed again. She wanted to change the sheets immediately but was too lazy to do so. Instead, she just wiped the bedsheet with a damp cloth. Crazy, eh?

The Midnight Migration

I have been sleeping on my own (in my own bedroom) since I was 3 years old. However, of late, I have been fleeing my room daily to co-sleep with daddy and mummy, no thanks to my incessant nightmares and self-scaring imaginations about monsters, ghosts and what-not.

Every morning, quite punctually between 3-4am, I would wake up, pack my belongings (put my bed buddies into the vomit bucket and bring them with me), take my bolster along, switch off the ceiling fan, sneak over to daddy and mummy's room, climb up their bed, squeeze myself into the tiny space between them and continue with my sleep. I have been doing this for at least 3 months now!

Mummy finds it amusing to see me repeating the same routine every day. The funniest is when she sees the vomit bucket right above her head on her pillow every morning. I bring the vomit bucket with me wherever I go because I am very prone to vomiting, especially when I cry or cough.

Some of my bed buddies inside the vomit bucket (they change every now and then)

Daddy and mummy hope that this nomadic habit of mine will stop soon. Although their bed is considered large (extended king-size), there is hardly enough space to accommodate the three six of us for a comfortable night's sleep. Why six?

... because joining us on the bed are 3 full-sized bolsters, which are nearly as "fat" as us haha!

My Sleeping Companion

Of late, I do not take regular afternoon naps anymore unless I am very tired. If my nap is "planned", I will surely look for something to hold while I sleep. The Goofy Pez candy dispenser is my clear favourite...

Me and my Goofy Pez

Goofy again...

... and again (and many other times too)

Sometimes, when I can't find Goofy, I will opt for funny and unlikely stuff...

... like a kazoo...

... an empty dental floss box...

... or a clothes peg

And this, I did not hold this on purpose, I just happened to fall asleep while drinking and mummy found this funny.  hehe...

I held on to this Transformers Bumble Bee toy overnight! I held it when I went to bed at night and the next morning, the toy was still in my hand. Unbelievable!

Golden Kiwi

Mummy and I were in Giant for our weekly grocery shopping last week. Once again, mummy told me that I could pick one item as a reward for being a good girl. She repeatedly stressed on the word ANYTHING. Yes, I could have anything in the store, anything that I liked!

Mummy was prepared to get me some snacks (she doesn't ban junkfood 100%) while we were browsing at the candies, biscuits and tidbits aisle. Surprisingly, I just kept quiet and did not ask for anything. As soon as we reached the Fresh Market (fruits and vegetables) section, I suddenly asked...

"Mummy, can you buy yellow kiwifruit for me? I tried it in school and I like it. Buy it for me ok. Please?

Of course mummy bought it for me. Moreover, it was on offer that day :)

Golden kiwi and grapes for my afternoon snack... because I made this healthy selection, I'll get another reward on our next shopping trip ;)

It's very sweeeeeet. Love it!

Creative Play: A Convertible

I love to play with my mini rocking chair. Yes, it's for playing, not for sitting. If only mummy could appreciate my creativity rather than constantly nagging me for cluttering the house with it. (She hates the sight of my rocking chair turned upside down lying around!)

On most days, it is converted into a carriage for my soft toys. This is done by "hooking" the rocking chair to the back spare wheel of my police jeep. This is my favourite way of playing with the rocking chair.

Driving my "kids" to school

Occasionally, I will also turn it into a high chair. A foldable stool is placed in the centre to make a tray.

A double-decked high chair for Tom the bear and his friend...

This is also one of my favourites... as part of a choo-choo train "coach".

Chugga chugga choo choo!

And lastly, as a rocking chair once in a while...

One rocking chair, four functions!

Expressions

There's never a dull moment with me around. Mummy brought me out for lunch last Friday and while waiting for our orders to arrive, I entertained her with my multitude of expressions...

The good-girl look

Happy

Sad *cry*

Excited

What??? *Shocked*

ANGRY!

Tada!

Whatever...

Bored...

Engrossed

Hungry.....
