Smaland @ Ikea
This is one of my favourite playlands simply because it is free. It's actually a very simple place with not many things to play inside. Mummy cannot understand why I can play here again and again and again without getting bored of the place! Just look at my number of visits so far...
I get a sticker for each visit (minus a few stickers thrown away)... I have played here over 20 times in just a few months! Oh well, thanks to mummy, for bringing me here almost every week! :p |
I usually play here alone. Sometimes, I make new friends but on most days, I'm happy with just playing on my own.

Notice the colour of the balls... they are red (well, mostly). |
Notice the colour of the balls again... they are blue. This was just 2 weeks after my last visit here with Leanne. They DO change and wash the balls after all :) |
And being a citizen of Smaland, I've earned enough Dallars to redeem this T-shirt...

6 Years and Still Doing It...
I love "driving". I've always loved the steering wheel since I was a baby. Everytime daddy leaves the car to run a quick errand or to pump petrol (locking both mummy and I in the car), I will quickly hop over to the driver's seat and play with the steering. I only do this under mummy's watchful eyes and I'm not allowed to touch anything else.

I Finally Like It!
I used to hate mooncakes. Even until last year, I refused to have any and I had no interest in trying them at all. This year, however, things took a turn for the better. Not only do I eat mooncakes now, I actually love it!
Are you sure this is nice? Let me try first... |
1st bite... mm, not bad. 2nd bite... quite nice. 3rd bite... love it already! |
After acquiring the taste for mooncakes, I've grown to love almost everything from the plain "pig biscuits" to the traditional lotus paste as well as those fanciful flavours like green tea, bamboo charcoal, red dates, fruity and cheesy ones... anything as long as it's not durian haha!

A Fun Day
My birthday this year was a very simple and quiet one. As a mark of respect to Yeh Yeh's recent demise, all lavish celebrations, including my birthday party plan had to be scrapped (mummy had earlier planned a birthday bash for me in school with cakes, snacks, party packs and all). Well, nevermind if the school party had to be cancelled but there was one place that I wanted to go very badly - Kid's e World.
Mummy tried luring me to Kidzania instead but no other interesting places could make me change my mind so Kid's e World it was, for me. On the morning of my actual birthday, I went to school as usual. Immediately after school, I was whisked off to Kid's e World in IPC (Ikano Power Centre)...

Ball pit... my favourite! |
I played alone most of the time. Later, I found a friend in a little girl called Faith. Before Faith came along, daddy and mummy were my playmates...

Initially, mummy felt that the RM30 entrance fee (unlimited play time) on a weekday was quite pricey but after spending nearly 6 hours watching the priceless smile and happiness in me, it was all worth it. Plus, the two big potatoes (namely daddy & mummy) had their share of playing there too so RM30 was CHEAP compared to, say, a trip to Genting haha!

Kiddy Fun Land
-Backdated post-
During the school holidays, mummy brought me to the malls quite regularly. Most of the time, I just tagged along while mummy did her groceries and other stuff. To make up for all those times when I accompanied her and endured long hours of boredom in silence, she brought me to these "kiddy fun lands" to cheer me up.
Kiddy Fun Land 1 - Jusco's Paper Town, 1 Utama
Despite being around for quite some time, this place is very well-maintained. Everything in it is clean, new and in working condition. Mummy doesn't mind letting me play here again and again...
I was very happy and contented after spending a few hours playing in YuKids Island. Mummy initially allocated 2 hours for this but I kept begging for "extra time" and stretched my time here to nearly 3 hours! As soon as we got home and immediately after my bath, I sat down and wrote this note for mummy...

This roll-roll-roll thing was very fun to play with! |

Having another ball of a time! Mummy brought me there early in the morning so there was no crowd at all :) |
Kiddy Fun Land 2 - YuKids Island
Newly opened in The Curve, mummy took advantage of their opening offer of only RM10 for unlimited play time (she missed the FREE entry on their first 3 days of opening). This play land has the same concept as the Kid's E World in The Gardens where every play thing in it moves... they either rock, tilt or rotate.
I referred to this as "the most fun place in the world"! |
Now you see me, now you don't! |
Jump, jump, jump... how high can you jump? |
Floating balloons! |
"Geram" this very cuddly froggie |
Resting on a rotating "drum" |
Hanging on to this merry-go-round... it's not easy to ride on this! |
Another 5 more minutes, pleeeeease? |

Crazy Over The Smurfs
I have fallen deeply in love with The Smurfs, thanks to mummy who kept "influencing" me into liking it just because it was her favourite childhood cartoon. It all started after she bought a DVD of old cartoon collection for herself besides the (then) latest animated movie DVD.
When I watched it with her, I was immediately hooked to the cartoon and claimed the DVD as mine haha!
We also made Clumsy Smurf with Pyssla beads...
Every night, I go to bed with this Clumsy Pyssla beads placed next to me and say "I want to dream sweet Smurf dreams tonight" :)

Daddy has since added 2 more DVDs to my collection (more to come, maybe?)... I just can't stop watching them. I can watch them all day if only mummy allows me to (of course she doesn't!) |
Soon, I was constantly on the look out for Smurfs merchandises whenever we went shopping BUT I never asked for any of them. I was happy with just looking at them. I even told mummy "This Smurf soft toy is so cute but I have so many soft toys at home so I don't want lah" and "This Smurf stationary set is so nice but I have so many of these at home so I don't want lah" I'm quite a sensible girl :)
And then... I spotted this in Cold Storage and pestered mummy for it! (simply because I didn't have it at home hehe) |
Mummy bought this Smurf biscuits for me, also from Cold Storage... very crunchy and addictive! |

Look, I've turned into a Smurf! Nice, eh? |
Here is the template for the Pyssla beads Clumsy Smurf that mummy "curi" from here (No, she did not make this on her own!) |
Mummy did the outline for me and I filled in the blue and white part. It was tedious work for me! *wipes sweat* |
