Bubbles in the Park
I love bubbles although I've yet to experience the joy of blowing them. I'm still not able to produce that gush of air through blowing.

But I Don't Even Like Lollipops
Today, for the second time, I "earned" a lollipop from a stranger again through my charms. (First time was here). I was busy looking at some fish in an aquarium with daddy when a lady happened to walk past and I smiled at her. A few minutes later, the lady returned with a lollipop for me!
Later, at home, I kept asking for my lollipop. I was happy and eager with just holding and admiring it. I was not interested in eating it at all. Out of curiosity, I just tasted it with the tip of my tongue and said "Not nice. Got poison". Hahaha!

Here Kitty Kitty
After watching some kids with their faces painted like cats on tv, I asked mummy "Why is their face like that?" Later in the evening, just before my bath, mummy asked if I would like to have my face painted like a cat too, and I eagerly said "Yes!" Using an eyebrow pencil, she came up with a very amateur, cincai version of a cat-face...

Meeeooooww!

Memorizing Rhymes
I LOVE nursery rhymes! Everyday without fail, I will hum some of the songs to myself while playing alone. Very often, I will also shove the nursery rhyme book to mummy and ask her to sing to me. Actually, I've had this book memorized from cover to cover! I can remember the sequences of almost all the rhymes that appear in it. Sometimes when mummy sings the songs randomly to me, I'll tell her "No, it's wrong. After Rhyme A, is Rhyme B, not Rhyme D!" Haha!
I have been singing and reciting parts of these rhymes as soon as I could talk, which was around 22 months. Now that I'm much older, I can sing and recite them in full, with a much clearer pronunciation, although I still mispronounce some words here and there. I will also mumble through the parts that I'm not sure of.

To date, I think I have memorized as many as 100 or more nursery rhymes, including some of the unusual and not so common ones, like this one called Solomon Grundy, which daddy hates. But mummy and I still like to sing it to annoy him. Haha!
I think he doesn't like the tragic ending and he hates to see the coffin. Mummy agrees that it's not very appropriate for kids too but we still sing it every time we reach this page. It is also featured in one of our kid songs CDs, which is why we know how to sing it.
Here's me singing Sing a Song of Sixpence, my favourite.

Solving IQ Puzzles
I have been playing with these shape-puzzles for a few months now. My logical thinking skill is quite good as I'm able to solve many of the puzzles on my own, especially the easy ones. Some of them may look very easy, but they actually aren't!

Tada... I did it!!

Even daddy and mummy got hooked to this game and they quickly returned to the shop to buy a second set that is made up of different shapes. Each puzzle comes with 60 cards with different patterns to be solved. The second set (on the left) is quite difficult and I'm not quite able to solve it yet unless it is partially (at least half) filled up for me.
For the more difficult ones, mummy needs to give me some clues by filling in 2-3 pieces for me and I will do the rest.
Tada... I did it!!
Sometimes, I will also create my own patterns. This is called thinking out of the box, literally. Haha! Like in this picture, I've arranged all the shapes to form a rectangle.

What a Snob!
I have zero social skills, something that daddy and mummy are quite embarrassed to admit. While visiting some relatives today, I refused to call or acknowledge anyone, including a few yee-pors (grandaunts), yi-yi and kau-foo. I was like a pair of speakers on mute mode that got jammed. The whole time we were there, I did not even utter a single syllable. Imagine daddy and mummy's frustrations!

When my little cousin Pei Qi (who was on a visit from Australia) came to me with generous hugs and "sayang", I just sat there like a piece of log (again!). This has happened too many times! I was totally unresponsive to her affection and friendly gestures. Sigh... How sad.
I guess I am too extremely shy and timid. Mummy really hopes that when I go to school next year, I will learn to be more friendly and sociable.

City Park 2
Amidst the dark clouds and gloomy weather, we still went ahead with our plan to go kite-flying in City Park (in Seremban2) today. Luckily it didn't rain after all.
Watching daddy prepare the kite
Ready, steady... I was told to hold the kite as daddy moved further away to lengthen the string. When told to let go, I watched in awe, as the kite glided up into the air. Up, up and away!
Tug, tug, tug... See! That's our kite!
After some time, I got bored of it and asked mummy to bring me to the playground instead. Mummy brought me to the wooden bridge first, to see the fishes.

The Little Dancing Princess
While strolling in Colmar Tropicale, we saw an open stage along the walkway. After asking for mummy's permission to go up on the stage, I boldly went up and danced happily...
I was happily tapping my feet, following the rhythm and dancing to the beat when a few passers-by walked past and gave me a big applause! I was so shy, I stopped in my tracks and smiled bashfully at them...
Dancing with daddy...
Oh What a Day!
Today is daddy and mummy's wedding anniversary. It has been 9 blissful years! Daddy took a day off from work so that they could spend some time together. Of course, I got to tag along too! Not knowing where to go and what to do, they made an impromptu decision to rekindle their love in a little romantic place that they once loved to go... a day trip to Bukit Tinggi, now known as Berjaya Hills.

Our first stop was the Rabbit Farm. I quickly sprang up from my nap as soon as I heard that we have reached the rabbit farm. I was very excited and I enjoyed chasing the rabbits around. I also touched and stroked them very gently. I simply adored them!

There were also a few donkeys there. What a coincidence! We have just played the Donkey card game yesterday night!! (refer the post below) The donkeys were very quiet and didn't make any sound so I asked daddy "Why they never hee-haw, hee-haw?" Haha!
After that, we headed off to Colmar Tropicale. After having lunch at L'Orient, a quaint little Indochine restaurant, we just relaxed and walked around the little French village. Luckily the weather was good but it was a bit too hot.

It was also my first time playing in a ball pit, in the Children's Room. It was really, really fun! Since there was no one else there, both daddy and mummy also couldn't resist diving into the pool of balls too. I loved it soooooooo much, I refused to leave! It was only after daddy promised to return here for a second round that I finally agreed to leave.
The Swan Lake... I enjoyed looking at the lovely swans but was afraid of them at the same time haha.
The place was very quiet and deserted. There was hardly any crowd there. From these photos, we noticed that the whole place was almost practically ours!
So happy!
Family photo, taken by a stranger.
The day ended with a very hearty and sumptuous meal at Daorae, a Korean restaurant near home. We had seafood "steamboat" with 12 side dishes. Yummy!
