Lured by the Biscuit

It's funny but true... While I was eating this biscuit, they suddenly said "Let's go to the zoo". It was this animal biscuit that prompted daddy and mummy to plan a real trip to the zoo, a really real one, not a talk-only one. So they chose a day and promised to stick to it... and they did! Bravo!

Thank you, biscuit. You are not only delicious, you have successfully lured us to the zoo!

The Zoo

After planning and postponing a trip to the zoo for the hundred-thousandth time, we finally made it today. Hurray!

When asked "Which animal do you like the most?" a few times, my answer was always consistently the GIRAFFE.

I was very happy and excited to see so many animals but occasionally, at certain enclosures, I would complain "very smelly".

Then we watched some birds and sea lions perform in the animal show. Mummy said they were more obedient than me and they could perform so many tricks!
I finally saw the hippos. Now I understood why the hippos were not in Ipoh.

Most of the walkways were very shady and comfortable. Eventhough it was very sunny, we didn't really feel the heat except for the Savannah Walk. It was very hot there.

Mummy was quite surprised that I dared to touch some of the animals. I gently stroked a pony and touched a kid's ear...

Towards the end of the trip, at about 3pm, I was so tired I fell asleep in my stroller. It was my nap time, anyway.

I was very sound asleep when we left the zoo but something funny happened. As we were entering the car, I woke up for a while, said "bye-bye zoo" and went back to sleep. Hahaha!
Overall, it was a very nice experience. All the animals were very visible and were proudly parading themselves to us except for the porcupines, which were asleep when we visited them.

Oops, I Forgot My Pants

I usually do not wear pants at home, unless there are guests around. Most of the time, I'm just clad in a t-shirt and panties - it's more comfortable, cooling and easy for me to remove and put on when I go to the potty on my own.

This morning, we went out as usual. Closed the door. Locked the gate. Walked along the corridor. Suddenly, daddy noticed something wrong... Eh, BB "mou chiok foo" (not wearing pants). Hahaha!

We had to make a U-turn back to put on my pants. I also laughed at myself, saying "Hahaha BB forgot to wear pants".

Itchy Hands

I have this very irritating interest of inserting things into holes, crevices, gaps, slits or any openings that can have something go through them.

Every week when mummy mops under the sofa, there is a pile of "treasures" underneath, which I have slotted in through the gap between the seats.

There was once when I told mummy I have pushed a balloon stick through the gap on piano cover. She tried to look for it but couldn't find it.

In the latest incident, mummy caught me putting a folded piece of paper into the hole on the hi-fi speaker. This led to the discovery of more things inside... a Play-doh knife and a hotel key-card.

Both daddy and mummy did all sorts of funny things (and had a tough time) getting the stuffs out. They even turned the speaker upside down and shook it in all directions but those things just refused to come out! At last, mummy came out with this "sticky finger" idea to rescue the trapped victims...

Mummy gave me a good lecture and a stern warning about repeating such actions. Let's see how long can I refrain from letting my itchy fingers back to work.

Paperbag Super Hero

Mummy was busy at the computer as usual. I was trying to attract her attention by shouting "Superman! Superman!" while whizzing past her. However, she didn't look at me until later and when she did, she couldn't stop laughing! I was wearing this...

A paperbag with a hole

It was actually a gift from Auntie BS quite some time back...

Never Eaten a Lollipop

I don't think mummy would ever buy me sweets. If not for this aunty in a restaurant (the boss), who probably noticed my good behaviour, who gave me this lollipop, I will never know the taste of a candy until much later...

Since it didn't contain bright colourings, my kiasi mummy decided to let me try it... The funniest thing was, I didn't know how to eat it! I just stared at it and wondered if it was to be licked, bitten or chewed hahaha.

I am not really a sweets fan, which made mummy really happy. After just a few licks, I said "enough" and handed the stick to mummy. What's next? She brought me to the bathroom to brush my teeth, of course!

Online Photo Printing

Mummy takes an average of 150-200 photos of me every month, sometimes more, depending on our activities and outings. Every few months, she will go through all the folders and select the best ones to be developed. I love to look at my photo albums. I always say "Mummy, I want to read photo album". Hahaha!

Just last week, she has selected about 150 photos from my 24th Month - 30th Month folders. She told daddy to remind her to develop those photos on our next shopping trip. However, before our shopping trip was due (this coming weekend), mummy came across this great and interesting website called EOE Online.

They are currently having a promotion, which is too good to be missed. Each 4R print is only RM0.30 and delivery is free for orders above RM35.00. This promotion couldn't have come at a more appropriate time for us!

Now, mummy can print photos anytime she likes and wait for them to be delivered to the doorstep. I think she can't wait to try it...

The Historical City

We went to Melaka for a short trip from 1-3 Mar, with Gung-gung, Ah Ma and Kau-foo. It was my second visit there, and with them too.

Daddy could only join us on the 2nd day due to some work commitments so on the 1st day and the morning of the 2nd day, Gung-gung, Ah Ma, Kau-foo, mummy and I walked around on our own.

It was a very, very hot day. We were sweating, feeling tired and hungry after walking round and round in the hot-hot sun, looking for a place to have our lunch. Luckily I had my lunch packed by Ah Ma - yummy egg sandwich!

We went swimming in the afternoon because the pool was very nice and enticing. It had a water-slide and a umbrella-like splashing fountain in the wading pool.

In the evening, we drove around the town and landed in Jonker Street so we stopped here for dinner. Since it was a Monday, the street was very quiet and deserted. We had this whole "Mamee stage" to ourselves!

Other activities include shopping in Pahlawan Square, jumping on the hotel bed and flashing at some some headless mannequins haha. We also spotted the Eye On Malaysia near our hotel.

It was a fun and enjoyable family trip. Mummy gave me double thumbs-up for being a fuss-free, happy and cheerful little traveller/tourist!
