Backdated post: July 2013
When mummy and I balik kampung in July, we actually got "separated" from daddy with a distance much further than just China-Malaysia. Shortly after we were back in PJ/Seremban, daddy flew to the US for a business meeting and I missed him terribly, especially during the first week of his absence.
In order to "mengubati rindu", we video-called each other everyday without fail... sometimes even up to twice a day!

When he returned home after the 8-day trip... surprise, surprise!! Daddy actually went SHOPPING (something that he rarely does, except for books) and he brought home with him a large suitcase filled with goodies for us. There were clothing (tees, hoodies, pants), Croc shoes, toys, food and even personal care items haha! Of course my favourites are the toys, chocolates and snacks...

Chocolates (mummy hinted to daddy when she saw these at the airport... luck was on her side because they were so cheap in the US!)
Junk food (breakfast cereals) for our weekend snacks ;)
10 packs of dental floss LOL! (Some were removed from their casings to save luggage space) Just in case you are curious, they cost only USD1+ each! :p
Dental floss!!! Now thats quite a lot, ehh? Is LEGO cheap in US?

ReplyDeleteI set my expectation very high before I took my very first bite of Godiva (since it is so expensive back home)... Turned out to be very ordinary only. I'd rather choose Lindt over this :p
