The Piano Teacher

Ok Winnie, please listen carefully. I want you to sit still and pay attention to me...

This is how you play glissando... got it?

I Love To Drive

This is one of my favourite things to do whenever we go gai-gai... driving.

I will jump at every opportunity, literally hopping up to the driver's seat to take over the steering, everytime daddy leaves the car for a short while (with mummy around to keep an eye on me, of course) and also everytime we've reached home.

Need a ride? Come on, hop right in!

My 1st Bubble Bath

Actually it's not exactly my first. I had my first bubble bath when I was a newborn but those were nothing compared to this. This was much more foamy, bubbly, soapy and fun!

At first I was quite hesitant... I just stood there and refused to imerse myself in the thick froth. Plus, the water was also a bit too hot.

After much persuasion, I dipped my hands in...

Then, it was total enjoyment and I refused to get out of the tub.

I kept asking for extra-time until the water temperature didn't allow me to stay on...

Mummy's Big Day

Today is mummy's birthday. We rarely did anything special on this day but this year, we decided to celebrate it in PGH (again?!) Don't think we'll ever get bored of this place.

Standing at the balcony of our room... "Mummy look, got waterfall".

I was really, really happy. I kept running around, giggling, playing and exploring things on my own...

We took lots of photos this time. I was made to stand under the hot-hot sun for quite a few shots. Crazy.

We had Japanese buffet for lunch at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel. Mummy offered me all kinds of funny stuff like eel and baby octopus... eewwh! The only food I liked was ice-cream!
After a very heavy and hearty meal, we went back to the room to...

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
Later in the evening, we went to Jusco to gai-gai and have dinner. At the children's amusement centre, mummy spotted someone wearing the same outfit as mine...

Guess which one is me? What a small world hehe...

After dinner, we bought 2 slices of cakes and quickly rushed back to the hotel for that long-awaited BUBBLE BATH (to be posted separately).

This year, I wished mummy Happy Birthday for the very first time. Last year, I was still babbling. Then I gave her a very loving kiss and made her very, very happy!

Today was certainly a very eventful day for me. I was all hyper from the excitement and refused to go to bed eventhough it was nearly midnight.

Still happily fooling around at 11:55pm

Teddy Bear Pasta

Mummy used to buy me those tiny alphabet pasta and cooked it in different styles. It was so-so only...

Then she came across this cute Teddy Bear ones in Marks & Spencer. Since mummy also liked cute things like me, she bought it for me to try.

Boy, I loved it sooooo much, I could sapu the whole bowl in the shortest time of say, 3 minutes! Yums! I call it the bear-bear noodle. However, I didn't like it with pasta sauce or any other sauces with pungent/strong flavours. Any qing-tong (clear soup) is my favourite.

Teddy Bear pasta with an Asian twist: in fish, pumpkin and egg soup

With veggies in chicken broth

Now, cooking is a breeze for her. Whenever she's out of idea on what to cook but wants me to eat without any fuss, it's Teddy Bears to the rescue!

P.S. Little Prince's Mummy, this post is for you.

Monday Night Out

We seldom (almost never) eat out during the weekdays. Today, quite fed-up of cooking, mummy decided to go on a cooking-strike hahaha!

So we headed off to where else but NZX again... As we were walking there, we saw the fences of Festive Funtasy being dismantled and put away. Yesterday was the last day of exhibition. Free entrance to see the Disney characters again....

Dunno why but I just couldn't keep my hands off my head...

There is this quaint and cosy little restaurant that we've always wanted to try but never had the chance until today...

It has a real Mini Cooper parked at its entrance.

We sat right beside the car

And had a very nice and enjoyable dinner... burp!

To ease our full stomachs a bit, we took a walk in the Street Mall.

So many pretty things to see...

Even the street lights were adorned with Disney characters. Bye-bye lights...

Little Mouse

It was dinner time at Ah Ma's house. Everyone was busy eating in the dining area. Since I've already taken my dinner, I played on my own in the living room. After a while, I was as quiet as a mouse... so mummy went to take a peek and guess what was I doing?

Curi makan... I've opened the tin of biscuits and was helping myself to the whole packet of heong peah (fragrant biscuit), happily munching on one until...

... the sofa and cushion was scattered with millions of crumbs!

Feeding the Fish

There was a bagful of inedible bread in Ah Ma's house. To dispose it without feeling too guilty about the wastage, we decided to go to City Park to feed the fish. Although we've been here many times before, this was the first time I fed the fish.

It was fun. I liked it.

Then we went to the playground (a must-go). While sitting on the swing, I had the funniest look on my face hahaha... the very disgruntled look.

Sat on the grass with Gung-gung
