Feeding the Fish

There was a bagful of inedible bread in Ah Ma's house. To dispose it without feeling too guilty about the wastage, we decided to go to City Park to feed the fish. Although we've been here many times before, this was the first time I fed the fish.

It was fun. I liked it.

Then we went to the playground (a must-go). While sitting on the swing, I had the funniest look on my face hahaha... the very disgruntled look.

Silly Hairstyle

Mummy cut my fringe today. It's ridiculously short, silly and ugly...

She couldn't stop laughing at me the whole day. I had no idea what was so funny but everytime she laughed, I laughed with her too. Bad, bad mummy!

30 Months Old

I am two and a half years old today. I am a big girl now. It's quite unbelieveable how much I've grown and matured, especially in the past 3 months. I have shot up tremendously in terms of my height too.

- Height: 95cm Weight: N/A
- Can talk and chat with mummy like an adult
- Very affectionate lately - like to kiss and cuddle (with daddy and mummy only)
- Have suddenly developed a fear of strange noises and non-existent "villains". Everytime I hear someone (neighbour) opening the door, I'll run to mummy and say "scared, scared". When mummy opens the sliding door for ventilation, I'll quickly close it and tell her "got big, bad wolf outside".
- I am quite interested in Science and Geography. I like to learn about the Solar System, and can identify the names of a few planets. I also like to point to the world map and ask questions. I know where Malaysia is.

Cheeky forever...

The "Egg Plant"

(Backdated post)

Mummy, do eggs grow on plants? This was what caught our eyes at Kau-gung's house in Klang when we visited them on the 3rd day of CNY. Kam-por has creatively decorated her plant with eggshells and they were simply.... cute!

Pooh and I

Mummy came across this and thought it was cute. Since Leanne and I have the same Winnie the Pooh plush, she decided to borrow Uncle YK's idea and try it on me...

If you love me, give me your clothes...

The Stupid Story

Once upon a time, there lived a little girl who was learning to talk. She picked up words really quickly... any word, good or bad, including words that weren't taught to her.

One day, her mommy thought she heard her saying a not-so-nice word, which was "stupid". Mommy thought the little girl must have mispronounced another word that sounded alike.

However, the little girl continued to mention it several more times. Mommy then realized she was indeed saying "stupid" because the naughty girl was using it in the correct context. She even scolded her daddy and mommy using that word, which shocked and angered them. They have never uttered the word at home so where did she learn it from?

Mommy immediately reprimanded the little girl and issued her a warning. "Cannot say stupid... Blah blah blah... It's not a nice thing to say. Blah blah blah. Don't say that again, OK?" lectured her mommy. "Okay" said the little girl. And she was the most obedient little girl. The word "stupid" was never heard again...

... until 2 months later (which is today)...

... when Mommy accidentally mentioned it. As soon as the little girl heard the word, she paused for a moment. Looking shocked and stunned, she snapped "Don't say stupid! Cannot say stupid, remember?" Mommy was so ashamed of herself, she quickly apologized and said sorry a few hundred times...

What to Buy?

It's the last day of CNY today, which is also the angpau money-counting day. Since I didn't know the red packets contained money, mummy showed them to me.

Mummy: You see, there IS money inside.
Me: *Silent, with the "Oh, I see" expression*
Mummy: What do you want to buy with this money?
Me: Mmmm... *thinking hard*
Mummy: What would you like to buy?
Me: Mmmm..... *still thinking hard*
Mummy: We go gai-gai, what shall we buy? (expecting answers such as toys, books etc.)
Me: Buy bread.
Mummy: Hahahahaha! Bread??? That's all?
Me: Yes

Angpau

Knowing very well that mummy likes taking photos of almost everything, I initiated this today...

Me: BB got so many angpau... mummy, take photo.
Mummy: OK. Come, let's spread them on the floor *scatters it messily*
Me: Noooo, not like this... must arrange nicely. Like this, like this... *while arranging them neatly, side by side*
Mummy: Oh, ok...

Mummy: Wow, look! BB has so much money!
Me: No, this is NOT money. It's angpau lah...

Monkey Faces

Mummy has lost count of how many Monkey Faces (or other similar) titles she has posted. I don't think I'll ever get tired of monkey-ing around... and neither will she get tired of photographing and laughing at me.

And here is my signature "say aaahhhh" pose

Say Aaaaaaah

I just love to do this in front of the camera... opening my mouth as big and wide as possible:

The dentist would be very happy to see this...

Crying In The Park

We went to the new park today. And we met that same boy again. As usual, I was only interested in the playground whereas daddy and mummy both wanted to take a walk (exercise) first.
So we walked. And we walked... until we came to a junction. Daddy took the left turning but I insisted on going right. Daddy said "No, the playground is here (pointing to the left, trying to trick me)". I refused to budge. Are you kidding me, daddy? I said here means here and then suddenly waaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! I rained heavy tears and wet the ground. I was very loud too!

My tears won, of course. So we all took the right turn and headed to the children's playground. Hooray! When it was time to go home, I said "Wait, there's one more playground there". Yes, the "adult playground". I wanted to play there too...

Fireworks

I like to watch fireworks. CNY is always the best time to enjoy the "free shows". Every night, there would be at least one display clearly visible from our balcony.

Everytime I hear the boom-boom sound from a distance, I would run to the sliding door and exclaim excitedly "Fireworks, fireworks!"

It's there... can you see it?

Helpful... But Not Quite

When I saw mummy complaining to daddy about her broken specs (a tiny screw from the nose pad has fallen off), I quickly, voluntarily ran to the stationery drawer...

Nah mummy... hope this helps.

... and fetched her a roll of cellophane tape. Hahaha.

Hanky-panky?

A quick glance at these photos will make you wonder what Hayley jie-jie and I were doing at the backseat of the car.

Actually, we were just rubbing our noses... because we are good buddies (sometimes, if I don't annoy her) hehehe.

Little Model

I followed Hayley jie-jie to an advertisement casting today (because daddy was assigned to fetch her there). At the studio, I watched and observed her being photographed like a model.

After that, unexpectedly, the photographer asked if I would like to try too. Coincidentally, they were looking for a toddler around my age for 2 milk powder advertisements. Mummy was elated. Of course, she was proud to let me try. Her only regret was not putting on nicer clothes for me.

Daddy and mummy were surprised that I did not hesitate or behave like a piece of log. I posed happily and confidently in front of the bright lights without displaying a hint of shyness.

Well, it doesn't matter if I do not get the job. Being offered to have my photos taken is already a huge compliment. This is definitely one of the many special experiences for me.

Bath-time Is Fun!

Bath time is twice the fun when your "bather" (the person who bathes you) is half as playful as you are.

My crazy mummy sees fun in anything that can be moulded, sculptured and re-shaped (besides Play-doh). This includes a headful of shampoo...

(These pictures were taken separately on 3 different days)

Busy Working

Mummy and I were sitting beside each other on the sofa. She was watching tv. I was playing with my toy. Suddenly, she leaned over to give me a hug and kiss. I didn't welcome her loving gesture and thought it was an irritating distraction so I pushed her away and said...

"Mummy don't disturb! I'm busy working!" while giving her that can't-you-see-how-busy-I-am stare. (I learned this phrase from daddy because I like to disturb him when he's at his laptop)

Busy playing with my favourite toy, simply called the "turn-turn-turn toy"

Hippo in Ipoh

Forget about the zoo, dad. I wanna go to Ipoh now...

Daddy went to Ipoh last week (30th Jan) to run some errands. It was a very short, half-day trip so he did not bring me along. Since then, I have been whining and moaning and making all sorts of noise to make him take me there. Even until today, whenever we are in the car and daddy asks "where are we going?", my answer will always be Ipoh, of course.

This was what happened last week:

Me: Eeeeerrr (whining)... go to Ipoh... go to Ipoh
Mummy: Go to Ipoh for what?
Daddy: What do you want to do in Ipoh?
Me: See the hippo. See the hippo and the elephant and the giraffe and the monkey etc......

Just because Ipoh rhymes with hippo, I have mistaken it as a zoo hahaha.
