Fireworks!

Every year without fail, for 15 consecutive nights during CNY, we get to watch free firework displays from the bedroom or balcony of our home. Every time I hear the loud boom-boom sound of the fireworks, I'd run eagerly to the window or sliding door to watch...

And daddy/mummy would fiddle with the camera to come up with these shots...

Today is the last day of CNY, so goodbye fireworks. See you again next year!

Vomited In Daddy's Car AGAIN

I did it again, for the second time. (First time is here) We were on our way to Tesco/Ikea/The Curve. As we were approaching the Tesco carpark, with no warnings whatsoever, I "spilled" curdled milk, mashed bananas and soggy cereal bits all over myself and the car seat, and a little on mummy's shorts! *Yucky*

I did not eat anything new or unusual... just my usual 8oz milk early in the morning, and a banana and some cornflakes for my mid-morning snack.

This time, about 70% of the puke landed on the car seat and flooded parts of it. Eeeeeeewwww! Mummy had to run to Tesco to get me a new set of blouse and pants because she did not bring along my spare clothing :-(

Later, daddy did a quick clean-up which wasn't that thorough because the next day, we discovered white milk stains embedded in the "breathable" holes and crevices on the leather seat. Luckily it wasn't stinky at all. Phew!

Brushing in the Dark

I am quite an unusual kid. I mean, how many kids out there would eat a candy halfway, abandon it and go brush teeth? Well, here's what happened...

I was eating an organic lollipop. At the same time, I kept complaining "It's so sweet.... it's too sweet..." After that, I disappeared without mummy realizing it. Moments later, mummy found the lollipop chucked aside and me? I was in the bathroom, brushing my teeth, in the DARK! LOL!

It was really dark in there because I did not turn on the lights. The light in this photo came from the camera flash. See, siap put on a bib summore haha!

Mummy smiled and thought to herself "Good, good... She has very good oral hygiene" and felt proud that all her hard work in threatening me has paid off. She's always telling me that if I don't brush my teeth or keep my teeth clean, the choong-choong (worms) will come and eat up my teeth and turn them black, making them very, very painful. Eventually, these painful, rotten teeth will fall off and I will be toothless... cannot bite or chew food anymore.

Sounds scary? Well, at least it does, to me. Hehe!

Big Day, Small Celebration

It is mummy's birthday today. Daddy took a day off from work to spend the day with us... just the 3 of us. I went to school as usual in the morning. For the 1st time since I started school, I did not have to walk to school today. Daddy drove me to school. Yay!

After school, we went to Victoria Station for lunch. I think it felt more like MY birthday because I was very, very happy, excited and in a jolly good mood.

Instead of giving mummy a kiss, I got many, many from her...

Here's what we ate:
Seafood Au Gratin, Grilled Fish Fillet and Chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream (not in the picture)

After lunch, we went shopping at KLCC. Again, I was the happiest because I got to play with toys...

Helping myself to the toys in a toy room in Isetan

This is my latest craze... Vtech Disney video games. Actually I do not quite know how to play the games but I just love to push the joystick and simply press the buttons for fun.

Playing the Vtech video game in Toys R Us

In the Petrosains gift shop where mummy bought 4 small rubber dinosaurs for me

Of course, I was extremely overjoyed to see so many kiddy-rides around. I sat on each and everyone that I saw...

Snacking on my favourite Auntie Anne's pretzel, on my favourite Barney car

At the end of the day, mummy was still the happiest because every time she sees the happiness in me, the happiness in her multiplies many, many folds!

The Big and the Beautiful

We had a family gathering cum house-warming party in Koo-Gong's (mummy's 3rd Kau-foo/maternal uncle) new house today. The house is HUGE and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I told mummy "I like this house. I want to come again" when we left hehe...

All by myself in the tastefully furnished living room (we were the 1st to arrive)

Relaxing in the backyard lounge with Ah Ma

My favourite thing in the house has got to be this cute little wooden rocking horse that belongs to Tabitha yi-yi. Tabitha yi-yi used to ride on this when she was a baby.

Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross...

Ying yi-yi wanted to have a photo taken with all the kids. It was really difficult getting the younger kids to sit still... they kept running away haha! This was the only clear shot that daddy managed to take...

Ying yi-yi and the kids

We had a very scrumptious buffet dinner there. After a hearty meal, we decided to take a walk to the look-out point nearby. We had to climb many, many flights of stairs to reach the top *pant* *pant* *pant* Luckily we were rewarded with some refreshing cool breeze and a magnificent night view of KL city from the viewing platform.

Walk, walk, walk, all the way up...

Earlier, I quietly asked mummy "Can I hug ZK?" Err... again? The last time I hugged him, I went a little overboard hehe. We meet quite often and I love playing with him. Today, on the viewing platform, I really felt on top of the world, literally.

First, we just held hands like this...

Then we danced the night away. Awww.....

Playdough Day

On the 1st day of CNY, we stayed at home the whole day (at Mah-Mah's house) so what did we do? Luckily we brought along some toys to keep ourselves occupied. Playdough was one of them. After making the Mr Men playdough quite some time ago, mummy decided to make the Little Miss this time. However, she managed to come up with only 3 characters...

I did these... (using cutters and with a bit of help from mummy)

And Hayley jie-jie did these...

42 Months Old

I am exactly 3.5 years old today!

Height: 105cm
Weight: +- 18kg

Look at the size of my shoes!
My shoe in comparison to mummy's size 7 foot. Scary, huh?

Wearing a size 7-9 blouse and a size 7 (age 7) pants

Besides growing physically well, everything else about me remains the same...

Hahaha!

I see this little car on my way to school every day (the yellow Mini).
The first time I saw it...
Mummy: Look, BB! That's Mr Bean's car.
Me: Oooooh... you mean Mr Bean came out of the tv and drove his car here?
Mummy: Hahaha!

----------------------------------------------------------

Hayley jie-jie gave me a big bag of lovely hand-me-down dresses recently.
While taking my bath one day...
Mummy: After this, let's wear a new dress, ok?
Me: I don't have time to dress up.
Mummy: Huh?
Me: I said I don't have time to dress up!
Mummy: Hahaha!

----------------------------------------------------------

Every morning, while preparing for school, I'm always moving like a slow-loris so mummy has to constantly remind me to hasten my movements...
Mummy: Hurry up, we're running late!
Me: Noooo... we are walking late. Mummy, you say "walking late" lah. We walk to school, not run!
Mummy: Hahaha!

----------------------------------------------------------

Mummy bought some new CNY clothes for daddy recently. After washing and folding them, she showed them to me and asked:
Mummy: See, daddy's new clothes. Nice or not?
Me: Nice!
Mummy: These are young boys' clothes, you know... to make daddy look younger when he wears them.
Me: But daddy is an old man! How can?
Mummy: Hahaha!

Kindy's CNY Party

A few days prior to the party, mummy received a circular from the school saying that all the children are encouraged to be dressed in Chinese traditional costume for this party.

Since I did not have one, mummy started to scratch her head... until she suddenly remembered the one that Ah Ma bought for me from China last year. After nearly a year of sitting idle in the closet, the samfu still fitted nicely (a bit on the small side, though) but the long sleeves didn't seem too appropriate in the current hot weather. Therefore, with very limited sewing skills, and about half an hour of fumbling with the needle, mummy managed to make a simple alteration...

Before (long sleeves) and after (cropped sleeves)...

Well, today's the day! *Excited*

Me in my "ngam-ngam fit baju"

*Eager* Couldn't wait to "roar" in that lion costume. Since last week, I've been telling mummy about us playing the cymbals, drums and lion dance costume in class.

That's Ms J helping me to put on the lion costume

Chiang chiang chiang! Ms J told mummy how much I loved it and how super-excited I was!

Mummy, can I join a real lion dance troupe?

I was also given a mini goodie bag.

Back at home, I couldn't wait to nibble on these little treats...

Things in the goodie bag - a mandarin orange, some peanuts and candies... that's all it takes to make a kid happy!

Note: All the photos in the class were taken by my teachers. Mummy requested for their favour and left her camera there.
