By looking at this stool, what kind of hazard do you think it could possibly pose?
When mummy saw me playing with it, only 2 things came to her mind:
1. If I dropped it on my toes, they could be badly hurt
2. If I climbed on it and rocked it, I could fall and hurt myself badly
I did neither of the above. Instead, I chose to literally "head for" the gap between two of its legs like this...
... and got my big head lodged inside. I kept yelling "Stuck! Stuck!" but mummy wasn't listening and she wasn't even aware of what's going on until I started crying...
Mummy may seem evil and cruel for posting this video but after so many similar incidents, she's already "immuned" to all my mischiefs. When I was younger, she would have run to me or run into panic mode. Now, she just laughs it off... Oh yes, and while laughing, she grabs the camera as well *mummy flashes her evil grin* Sometimes she even chants "very good! very good!" much to my dismay.
Mummy helped to release my head by pushing it downwards because the gap widens at the base.
Phew! I swear I will never do that again!

Dora Got Fever?
Mummy must have forgotten to discard the used fever cooling pad that she put on me yesterday. When I saw it lying around, this was what I did...
I pasted it on Dora's forehead and said "Dora also got fever" hahaha!

Sick
Putting the blame (again) on my poor and irregular diet during the trip which lacked proper nutrition, I fell ill today. I woke up with a high fever of 39.7 C. Oh dear, high fever is one of the main symptoms of that dreaded H1N1 virus. Panic-stricken and fearful, daddy and mummy almost regretted going against family advice of cancelling the trip.
When my fever did not subside in the afternoon (after taking 2 doses of fever med), daddy came home early from work to bring me to the clinic. After the doctor confirmed that it was only a stomach infection, all their doubts and worries melted away instantly. Phew! To bring down my high temperature, the doctor inserted a rectal suppository for me. In just a couple of minutes, it was back to normal.
I also had diarrhea. I've never had diarrhea in my whole life before. At 2 years 9 months, I finally had my first experience. The doctor gave me some probiotics and "wind medicine" to expel the excess wind in my stiff and bloated tummy.
For nearly all my meals in Singapore, I ate only bread and fruits plus a tiny bit of everything that daddy and mummy ate. Despite supplementing my meals with lots of fresh fruits that mummy purposely went to buy at the supermarkets, I was still down with a stomach infection. Hmm... what could have possibly gone wrong? Maybe she failed to wash them as thoroughly as she would at home. Again, being exposed to so many people and so many things in a new environment, anything could happen...
Again, I was glued to the sofa and didn't budge at all from 8am-5pm! The fever and diarrhea had made me very weak and lethargic. For the first half of the day, I did get up to pee and poo. From noon onwards, I was so lazy and cranky, mummy had to put on a diaper for me.
Poor baby...

The next day, I was back to my usual self. The fever did not come back. I looked like I had bounced back to health but the diarrhea still persisted. The doctor said it would take 3-4 days to clear. As long as I was fever-free and did not show any signs of having a flu, daddy and mummy could finally breathe a sigh of relief!

I Miss Homecooked Food
The phrase "Mummy's cooking is always the best" has never sounded so right until today... when I finally realized how much I missed mummy's cooking, eventhough she's quite a lousy cook! Haha.
After being deprived of healthy, balanced and nutritious meals for 4 consecutive days (that's the longest I've ever experienced), I hungrily wolfed down the first few meals that mummy cooked upon our return from the trip. Feeding me was such a breeze. I would just sapu everything off the bowl, leaving nothing behind, and in a record-breaking time too.
That was a clear indication of how much I missed home-cooked meals. All this while, I've never been a fan of outside food. I dislike food that are overly flavourful. If given the choice, I would prefer food that are bland, with minimal seasonings, which is what mummy's cooking is all about.

Singapore Trip Part III
We didn't do much today since it was our last day here and we had to be at the airport by 1:30pm for our 3:15pm flight home.
We went to the Singapore Flyer in the morning. Although we went there quite early, we failed to get the free tickets (all fully redeemed) and mummy felt it was not worth it to pay for the ride. We'll come back next time when they have promotions again hehe!
We went to Suntec City instead... for another round of shopping. We walked right into the world's largest fountain. It didn't look very large though. I also fed some fishes in the koi pond there.
We had lunch here and returned home to pack our things. Besides providing us with free accommodation, "jostling" to pay for most of our meals and bringing us places, Ping Ping yi-yi even gave me a present (Esprit clothes). This made mummy really paiseh... Thank you soooooo much, Ping yi-yi!
Finally, it was time to go home. Victor yi-jeong fetched us to the airport since they were just staying nearby.
I fell asleep on our flight home. At first I was still actively moving about... checking out the food tray, playing with the window shutters, pressing the buttons on the armrest and then suddenly, my head drooped lower and lower and before you knew it, I had dozed off...
We would like to thank Aunty BS, Uncle D, Ping Ping yi-yi, Victor yi-jeong and Kau-foo for their time, generosity and warm hospitality throughout our stay in Singapore. We truly enjoyed our holiday very much!

Singapore Trip Part II
On the 3rd day, we packed our belonging and "migrated" over to Ping Ping yi-yi's (mummy's cousin) house. Before that, we went to the Singapore Zoo.
Mummy wanted to rent a stroller for me but Ping yi-yi was so quick. She had already paid for it before mummy could walk to the counter. I also met my cousin Thien Siang for the 1st time.
The zoo here was much nicer than Zoo Negara. Some of the animals that we saw here were not even available in Zoo Negara. They were...
... polar bears, penguins, white tigers, proboscis monkeys and few other animals.
We also watched a few animal shows.
The best thing about this zoo was, many of the enclosures had glass panels that enabled us to view the animals close-up.
Ooh... the pygmy hippo was actually quite cute and the monkeys (gibbons, I think) were very, very naughty!
We had lunch at the Ah Meng Restaurant. Ah Meng the orang-utan, was the zoo's famous mascot, which died recently.
We had a scoop of Ben & Jerry's ice-cream for dessert too.
Sitting on the Ben & Jerry's cow... and that's Chunky Monkey (banana ice-cream with walnuts and chocolate chunks)
Again, I fell asleep towards the end of the trip.
Before saying bye-bye to the zoo, mummy bought me 2 pairs of cute animal slippers (cos it was buy 1, free 1) from the souvenir shop.
My cute "Crocs" and turtle slippers
After leaving the zoo, we went to Ping yi-yi's house to shower and rest. I loved playing with baby Thien Siang. He is 7 months old and he's a very cute and adorable baby! I kept sayang-ing him and adoring him...
I also enjoyed playing with all his toys! I especially loved his rocker chair...
Later, we went for dinner at a Hong Kong restaurant. Kau-foo joined us too. After that, we went to Ikea to shop for my little red chair. Too bad, it was also out of stock here. It was much cheaper here so mummy has placed her order with Kau-foo, who will buy and bring it back for us later. We also bought a few storage boxes which was soooo irresistably cheap (almost 50% cheaper than here, even after the currency conversion!)
It was another very tiring day today. We came home past 11.30pm and headed straight to bed.

Singapore Trip Part I
Daddy and mummy brought me to Singapore for a short 4D3N holiday. It was my very first "oversea" trip. I woke up very early at 6am today to catch our 8:45am flight at the LCCT.
At the airport, daddy made me wear a face mask (because of the current H1N1 epidemic). There was just enough time for us to have our breakfast at MarryBrown. I quite liked the plain and simple egg burger.
After a short wait, I finally got to ride on a real airplane for the very first time. My first comment was "The aeroplane is soooooo big! Got staircase!" Hahaha.
I enjoyed the flight very much. I was very well behaved and didn't make any fuss during the 40-minute journey. I was extremely chatty and talked a lot too. I must have amused the uncle who was sitting behind me because later, he smiled at me and asked daddy about my age.
Upon landing, we took a shuttle bus to Terminal 2 to hop on the MRT to get to Aunty BS's house in Ang Mo Kio. It was quite a long journey... longer than our flight from KL to Singpore!
From the plane to the bus to the MRT...
After that, we went to a neighbourhood mall for a short stroll and lunch. Sat on a few kiddy rides and headed home for my bath and afternoon nap.
In the evening, we went out for dinner and shopping again. Before that, I made a special request to explore the playground first. Besides the cute flooring, everything else was pretty much the same...
The following day was all about eating and shopping. Kau-foo was our tour guide of the day. He brought us to Orchard Road. We went to Plaza Singapura and had our lunch there. Luckily mummy borrowed a stroller from Ping Ping yi-yi in advance so I didn't have to walk much and could even take my nap in it!
Yum-yum... savouring the Green Tea with red bean and Dark Chocolate Hokkaido ice-cream
Later, we hopped over to Vivo City. We wanted to have dinner at Marche Movenpick but the place was so crowded, it was crazy. Not wanting to waste time waiting in the long queue, we went to a Chinese restaurant with cute "hand chairs".
At the Sanrio (Hello Kitty) shop, Kau-foo wanted to get me a gift. I was attracted to a cute handbag but mummy chose these 3-in-1 food containers for me instead. Thank you, Kau-foo!
In the mall, I was happy to walk without daddy and mummy...

On the way home, Kau-foo stopped his car at the roadside so that we could run to the Merlion to take some photos...
What a tiring day! We got home quite late at about 11pm. After a quick late-night shower, I fell alseep almost immediately after finishing my milk.
